Acute Myeloid Leukaemia Education Event

This event is designed to bring together clinical and pathway professionals to explore evolving practices in the management of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). It will serve as a platform to:

  • Review recent changes in AML diagnostics, including molecular profiling, risk stratification, and early detection strategies.
  • Discuss updates to treatment pathways, with a focus on personalised medicine, novel therapies, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Facilitate implementation of NICE guidance across the AML pathway, ensuring alignment with national standards and improving patient outcomes.
  • Encourage cross-team collaboration, enabling shared learning and consistent practice across Greater Manchester.

 

The event will also provide opportunities for attendees to:

  • Engage with experts and peers on challenges and innovations in AML care.
  • Contribute to shaping future pathway developments.
  • Receive updates from the GM Cancer Alliance’s Workforce & Education Programme
