DESCRIPTION:As BAUN President and on behalf of the BAUN Trustees\, we look forward to welcoming you to The BAUN Annual Conference 2022 which is set to be an exceptional educational event. \nRegistration is now open for BAUN Conference 2022. \nMain conference is taking place on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th November at the\, EICC\, Edinburgh\, with pre-conference workshops available on Sunday 6th November. \nIf there was ever a year to celebrate coming together to celebrate the achievements of urological nursing\, then this is certainly the year. We have given our all to support our patients\, our services and each other over the past 2 years and now we face the challenge of recovery from COVID. I appreciate this is a busy time for you and your teams but we absolutely deserve the opportunity from Conference to access information\, education and support in order to reflect and move forward and explore new diverse roles and ways of working and the vision of urological services in the future and our contribution to this. \nI would encourage you and your teams to start thinking about how you can be part of BAUN Conference 2022\, whether this is joining us to celebrate\, showcasing your hard work over the past 2 years by submitting an abstract for poster or oral presentation or applying for an award to gain recognition for your achievements. I hope your Trusts recognise your contribution and value and that industry can also support you to attend in person. \nConference details and award submission are available on this website. Criteria for abstract submission\, along with the submission portal are now available on the ‘Posters & Free Papers Abstracts’ tab at the top of this page. \nWe did not achieve our 25th anniversary celebration last year and although our virtual conferences in 2020 and 2021 were a huge success\, all of the BAUN Trustees and Fitwise have been working hard to deliver a fantastic face to face event to you celebrating our theme of ‘Showcasing the Impact of Urological Nursing” in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. \nWe have listened to your feedback from last year’s conference and are putting together an exciting programme to meet your needs with many inspiring speakers to deliver these stimulating and thought-provoking topics. The full conference programme will be available shortly. \nOn behalf of BAUN\, I look forward to seeing you in Edinburgh to celebrate.
