SUMMARY:Patient Workshop on Skin Lesions for Primary Care
DESCRIPTION:NHSGM and GM Cancer Alliance are hosting a half day education session for professionals working in Primary Care. This follows on from the ‘theoretical’ case-based learning event on the 2nd October 2023 and is closely aligned with the DECIDE Dermatology ethos rolled out in 2018-19. \nThe on-demand recording from the case-based learning event can be accessed here. You must be a registered website user to access the recording. \nThe session is your opportunity to further develop your knowledge and experience in skin lesion diagnosis and management through direct learning with patients. \nThe workshop will include \n\nTop tips from peers and specialists\nSupporting diagnostic decision making in skin lesion\nApplying your knowledge in authentic settings\nShared decision making for benign lesion management\n\nTo maximise the learning\, we need as many delegates as possible to bring along a dermatascope to the training\, please therefore bring one from your GP practice if there is one available. \nThe event is located at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust\, Mayo Building\, Floor 2.
