- Recap the role of genomic pathways for breast cancer patients that are approved within the National Test Directory
- Explore the development of a testing pathway for patients with metastatic breast cancer
Learning Objectives
- Understand recent updates to the National Genomic Test Directory and their implications for breast cancer genetic testing pathways. Including changes to eligibility criteria, test access, and pathway considerations across inherited and somatic testing.
- Recap the role of genomic testing within breast cancer care pathways. Including an overview of germline and tumour testing, key genomic markers, and how genomic results influence treatment decisions, risk assessment and family management.
