Simulation Lesson Library

We began working with Higher Education Institutes (HEI’s) to strengthen the integration of cancer education within pre-registration curriculum. Our aim is to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide high-quality care across the entire cancer pathway. By embedding cancer-focused content into university programmes, we hope to inspire the next generation of nurses to explore careers in oncology and to develop a deeper understanding of the patient experience.

This work reflects our commitment to fostering experiential, practice-aligned learning that supports professional standards and responds to the evolving needs of healthcare.

This simulation lesson library provides access to a growing collection of lesson plans that cover a wide range of topics and stages within the cancer pathway. Designed for pre-registration learners, each lesson can be adapted to suit the specific requirements of university curricula.

All lesson plans have been developed with input from subject matter experts and align with the ACCEND Framework and relevant professional standards, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based learning resources.
