Our vision is to support the development of a sustainable lifelong learning model for cancer care across all care settings. We want to ensure that our workforce is equipped with the skills and tools necessary to deliver the best patient care. In order to reduce variation in cancer care, we want to make sure there is no inequity around accessing education.
The GM Cancer Urology Academy is our starting point – training is applicable for a wide range of the workforce, from those working specifically in the urology specialty, to those performing urology-related tasks e.g. catheterisation. All education is driven by workforce need and is delivered in a variety of methods including modules, webinars, events and skills labs. More specialities will be announced soon!
